About these numbers

Every count is taken once a day from LMB's database and knowledge graph and saved, so the Growth page can show change over time. This site is rebuilt from those saved counts; it never queries the live data directly.

Each metric is defined once, in LMB's lmb_sdk.metrics module:

Vessels are things whose concept is watercraft or any narrower concept (steamboat, car ferry, tugboat, sailing vessel, …).

LMB's own RDF statements count the hand-asserted master graph plus the graphs projected from the database. The much larger cached copy of Wikidata is counted separately and isn't LMB's own work.
